HAFA was registered as a Trust in 2008 and facilitates all artisanal fishers along the coastal towns, and process their daily catches and sell the quality products to the market at affordable prices.
‘’Hanganeni’’ – the association’s name comes from the local language, meaning ‘’coming together’’, which is the main aim of HAFA, organizing all local artisanal fishers bringing them together and mitigate illegal fishing and trading.
Our motto is “Fresh fish from the ocean”, hence we provide our clients with high quality fresh fish.
We strive to sell our fish products unfrozen and if sold frozen maintain the high quality of the product.

Our cool-store facilities are one of the best, and our clients come from all over the country and from neighboring countries. Restaurant’s with our fish on the menu becomes gathering places for family and friends as they enjoy our mouthwatering prepared fresh fish products.
Our packaging is designed to maintain, store and distribute fish at the best quality standards. Equally our agents are encouraged to keep and distribute our brand fish at the same level. Apart from the sales agents we have a take away and fish shop in Henties bay and a fish shop in Uis
